Booking & Advance Payment

For “confirmation of treatment and accommodation” (hereinafter referred to as booking) at Matha, advance payment is required. You should have completed a preliminary medical consultation (over phone / online) to be eligible for booking. Your preferred room type, Pickup/drop requirements, details of person accompanying etc are to be informed so that we can block the appropriate room and make arrangements. Also, your medicines, treatment schedule etc would be scheduled as per the initial treatment plan given by the doctor after your preliminary medical consultation. Admissions and treatments without prior booking would solely depend upon the availability of rooms and treatment slots at our hospital units.

The amount required for advance payment would be informed while making the booking. This amount is calculated based on your treatment plan, your preferred room type, special medicines (if any to be prepared for your treatment before your arrival), pickup requirements etc. Confirmation of booking would be given only after the amount is credited. If payment is not credited within 5 days of making a booking, that booking is considered invalid, and the room and treatment slots would be allotted to the next guest.

The “estimated cost of treatment, stay and diet” (hereinafter referred to as estimate) would be informed to you as soon as your treatment plan is decided by our treating doctor. On arrival, 50% of the total amount needs to be paid, and the balance 50% is to be paid after the start of treatment.

We accept all credit/debit cards, UPI, bank transfer, and most of payment wallet transfers such as Paytm, google pay, BHIM etc. We also accept cheques, but confirmation would be provided only after the cheque is cleared. If your final payment is via cheque, it should be planned in such a way that the cheque gets cleared at least 2 days before the end of treatment. We would NOT be charging any additional service fee for using credit/debit cards / UPI, Payments wallets etc.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

Full refunds are provided for cancellations done upto 2 weeks prior to start date of treatment. Partial refunds would be provided for cancellations between 2 weeks to 2 days prior to start of treatment. No refund would be provided for cancellations later than than 2 days before start of treatment.

Medicine Sale

Medicines are available only according to the prescription of a doctor of Matha. Each prescription has a review date, and medicines are sold only within the review date of the prescription. After the expiry of review date, a fresh prescription can be availed after a consultation (in-person/online) with the treating doctor. Medicines are shipped worldwide, on advance payment including shipping charges. Medicines once sold would not be taken back under any circumstances.

Refusal of treatment

Matha reserves the right to cancel the booking and/or stop on-going treatment for persons who do not follow the rules and regulations of the hospital, those who have not completed the payments due on time, those who do not adhere to the medical advice given by doctors, and also for any behavious that in the opinion of hospital authorities is not conducive to the smooth functioning of the organization. In such situations, no refund would be provided, and such persons would be politely asked to leave the hospital premise immediately.


All payments and refunds are applicable only in Indian Rupees (INR).
