How To Reach Matha Ayurvedic Eye Hospital

Reach Matha By Bus

Long-Distance Bus: Buses arrive in Trivandrum(Thiruvananthapuram) at Thampanoor Bus stand.

Kudappanakunnu – Hospital is at a distance of about 8 km from the Thampanoor Bus stand.

Moongode – Hospital is at a distance of about 12 km from the Thampanoor bus stand.

Reach Matha By Train

To arrive at Matha Ayurveda Eye hospital, you may book your train tickets to any of the following railway stations. The Indian railways online booking portal (www.irctc.co.in) station names and station codes are given below:
Trivandrum Central railway station (Station code : TVC)
Trivandrum Pettah railway station (Station code : TVP)
Kochuveli railway station (Station code: KVCL)
Hospitas are at a distance of between 10 to 15 kms from all the stations.

Reach Matha By Flight

The nearest airport is Thiruvananthapuram International airport: The airport is situated at a distance of 15 km from both the hospitals.
The next nearest airport is Cochin International airport, Nedumbassery: This airport is situated at a distance of approx 275 km from the Hospital.

After Reaching Trivandrum City

By Taxi – Always travel by prepaid taxi with a pre-fixed charge. Do give the hospital address beforehand while traveling by prepaid taxi. Online taxi services such as ola, uber etc are available to kudappankunnu hospital and not to moongode hospital, as it is just outside the city limits. But, taxis from bus stand, railway station, airport etc are available.

By Autorickshaw – Autorickshaws are cheaper than taxi’s but can accommodate only 3 passengers and limited luggage. Always hail a autorickshaw from a prepaid autorickshaw stand only.

By local city bus –

Kudappanakunnu – This is the cheapest means of transport. If you are unable to get a direct bus to kudappanakunnu, you may also get down at either Peroorkada(3 kms to kudappanakunnu) or Mannanthala (5 kms to kudappanakunnu) and then proceed by either autorickshaw or a second bus.
Moongode – You need to reach Thachottukavu, and then get an auto from there to reach moongode hospital.
