Prof. Dr. P K Santhakumari M.D (Ay)

Founder and Chief Physician, Matha Ayurveda Eye Hospitals

Prof. Dr. P.K. Santhakumari is a distinguished Ayurvedic ophthalmologist with over four decades of experience in teaching and treating eye diseases through traditional Ayurvedic methods. She completed her Post-Graduate degree in Netra Chikitsa (Ophthalmology) from Government Ayurveda College in 1982.

Served as Professor at various Ayurveda colleges across Kerala until her retirement from Government service in 2010.After retirement, she founded Matha Ayurveda Eye Hospitals, which began as a four-bedded facility in 2003 and has grown into a comprehensive eye care center with multiple units. The hospital has received approvals from Quality Council of India and C.G.H.S., and operates its own Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing facility exclusively for eye diseases.
